Hello. This is the home of my programming lessons. It is broken up into parts. The first part was made in 2014 and teaches how to make a hand coded 3D environment using javascript and ratios. The begining of it is a little rushed, but the programming part of it is solid. Part 2 is a quick course on Trigonometry. It is still in the works, but should be done by the end of 2016. Part 3 will combine parts 1 and 2 to make a 3D environment similar to the Atari arcade game Battlezone. And finally, in part 4 we'll add collision detection to have a playable game.

Part 1 - Ratios

Here is what we will produce in part one which is four hours:

Again, all you need to know to do this lesson is how to multiply and divide. This lesson is perfect for children. All we are doing is intelligently placing dots (and lines), on the screen. To tell you the truth, I didn't know anything about the method for placing the dots and lines when I started the camera rolling.

Part 2 - Trigonometry Under Construction

This section is a tutorial on trigonometry in preperation for adding rotation to the example above.

Part 3 - Bringing it Together Coming Soon

This section will add the trigonometry skills taught in part 2 to the code written in part 1 to produce an engine where any shape can be made and viewed from any angle.

Part 4 - Making of a Modern Arcade Game Coming Soon

We'll be adding collision detection to the 3D envrionment to complete our game.

HTML Minesweeper Tutorial!!

This is a one hour and seven minute video on making an HTML minesweeper game.
